There are now no longer only 4 seasons in foundational seasonal colour analysis. Think Colour My World by one of our fore mothers Carole Jackson circa 1980’s (when people still wore marigold and breen).

kaleidoscope uses a 12 season colour swatch system, with our self curated questionnaire to determine accurately what seasonal colour palette you awaken in; however are also completely rested in.

All Winter and Summer seasons are cool. And all Spring and Autumn seasons are warm.

One of them is your primary season or your home season.

The other is your secondary season or what we like to call your sister season.

What is a primary (home) season you ask?

It is the season that you are the strongest in, colour wise. The season where you look sensational in every colour. The season where you visually sing. Without describing the questionnaire, it will be the clearest season we can place you in, like the soft sun on a winters morning.

What is the secondary (sister) season?

The sister season is the palette that you also can wear. The match will not strike as strong a chord as the primary season, as the sister season’s provides a softer look. Also, as we begin to age, we evolve to sit more in our sister season. We don’t retire to this, but the softer look is complimentary to the maturing process.

Understand that both seasons open the door to many different variations of colour combinations you can experiment with, where you will look striking.

Colour is Energy

Light, which is the Mother of colour, needs a medium to travel through, however, that medium is the electromagnetic field, that exists everywhere.

Colour travels in wavelengths known as cycles (hertz) per second, within light.

Frequency is the measure of those wavelengths.

Therefore, every colour seen on earth literally produces a specific energy through its frequency.

The energy that colours produce, are certainly seen, however, that energy is also felt.

This is quite possibly why we have such a strong psychological association with colour. Why colours have a particular “vibe”, and why they do not all vibe or harmonise with each other.

However, colour needs to harmonise with you, not unlike to how musical notes are at their most influential, resonate the strongest when they are composed in harmony together.
